About

NewK9 Obedience in Grimsby specialises in dog obedience training. These classes are provided under several categories including include general obedience, bull-bedience (for Staffordshire Bull Terriers, English or American Bulldogs, English Bull Terriers and all Mastiff breeds) as well as ‘one to one’ training.

The aim of all classes is to always provide a friendly, professional and confident service. These always move both the owner and dog into a more calm way of being together. NewK9 Obedience is run by James Newton who has trained dogs since he was 12 years old.

James has dabbled in competitive obedience and trained his own GSD to compete and be placed in the YKC Starters obedience final at Crufts 2012. The same year James also won Best of Breed and featured in the live TV coverage of the Gundog Group. He has had lots of experience with many different breeds and behavioural issues using a very refined yet practical, calm and assertive approach to training you and your dog.
