Located in Fareham, Hampshire, The Stubbington Ark supports the aims and objectives of the RSPCA in trying to improve the lot of all animals by its own actions, and by promoting responsible ownership. A primary objective is to rescue any animal from cruelty, neglect, accident or hardship and give them an opportunity to enjoy a safe, secure future.
The Stubbington Ark is the focus of animal welfare services in a 600 square mile area of South Hampshire, providing shelter for all kinds of animals including domestic pets and companion animals, farm stock animals and poultry, exotics and wildlife. There are usually over 500 animals and birds on site at any one time.
RSPCA Solent Branch which administers The Stubbington Ark is a charity and entirely self funded from the local area. The Ark is open seven days a week, 10am to 4pm except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
