Pet Products and Inventions

As in so many industries, the pet industry is constantly alive with fresh ideas for products and inventions that are designed to make the lives of pets and their owners more comfortable or enjoyable. Whilst many of these inventions are introduced by established brands with large research and development budgets, many come directly from entrepreneurial pet owners who, through their own experiences, have been able to identify a particular area of pet care that shows room for improvement.

As is the case with so many inventions, high start-up costs, lack of demand and the difficulties of securing stockists means that many pet products never see the light of day. There is however, an encouraging number of companies in the UK that have successfully managed to develop a product far enough to bring it to market - and we're delighted to celebrate these companies below.
