Preston Petway was started in Preston, Lancashire, by two local pet fish hobbyists who found that other local independent pet fish shops were closing down. The shop was started not so much as a business but as an extension of their hobby.

Whilst the shop mainly sells tropical and freshwater fish it also offers other pet products for all sorts of birds and animals. They have a range of dog clothes for example as well as a selection of pet food, cat litter, dog leads and lots of other accessories. The friendly staff always listen to their customer’s requirements and try and source any products that may be required.

Preston Petway is normally open on four days a week Thursday to Sunday. It’s worth giving them a quick call first to check opening times. The shop is situated on Deepdale Road within sight of Preston North End football stadium. It’s also right next Moor Park, a dog walkers paradise.
